After launching Ventoro in 2002, we quickly learned the painful lesson that regardless of how sound a global sourcing strategy may be- and how great the mechanical processes are designed, unless the client’s employees have the skills necessary, the overall outsourcing initiative will fail. Fact is, global sourcing strategies present a completely new fulfillment and management paradigm to companies.  Employees now have to deal with new roles inside the enterprise, cope with cultural differences, understand new accents and languages, adjust personal time to meet with teams at odd hours of the day, figure out material updates to core business process functions, etc… in parallel to keeping the overall company running. It is a completely new game and unless your employees figure out the rules quickly, you will not be a success.

In late 2002, we modified our core consulting offering to encompass an aggressive client training program.  Since our training program implementation, we have offered a breadth of courses to over sixty clients in over twenty countries around the globe with great success. Although we like to believe our consulting services offer great value to each client, our education programs have routinely proven to offer the most immediate and significant impact to the health of every client to date.
